WebChecking "Automatic Archive Invalidation" under profiles has no effect, and none of the AI mods that I have found work because they are all .bsa archives, and MO2 does not handle archives. MO1 does handle archives and works just fine but not MO2. I must be missing something basic and would be thankful for any help. Since you didn't say, I will assume that you have the game on Steam and it is installed in "Program Files". Set NMM to run as an administrator. It would be even better to have the game installed in a location outside of "Program Files".

Ensure that it is exactly 247kb (for program version) or 1kb for the manual zip.

The Anniversary patcher doesn't do anything with Archives, it just patches the game back down to pre-update so FOSE can work with it.
