Had 295/70-18 Defenders installed a week or so ago (stock wheels) and the shop put 70/75 cold psi in them. They rode smooth but I know they just went by the door sticker ... At 60 PSI (cold) all around drove about 75-100’ and the line wore almost perfectly all the way across both front and rear. There was just a tiny amount of chalk on the outer edges (barley) front and rear.

Do the chalk test when tires are cold. Do NOT change/adjust tire pressures when tires are warm. And by the way it's unsafe. You are playing at the limit of your tire max pressure rating.
